Wonderful, tart Massachusetts cranberries take the stage and almost steal the show away from the incredible apples we get from Apple Hill farm in Concord, New Hampshire. This is one of Flag Hill’s sweetest creations, but a nice balance gets struck between the nectarous nature of the wine, and the pucker of the cranberries.

Notes from the Winemaker: The goal with this wine is to always find the sweet spot between that wonderful tart/biting cranberry, and the sweetness that these New Hampshire-grown apples leave us. Typically one of the slowest fermenting wines under our roof as it can take upwards of 30 days to complete primary. At the end of primary, we quickly rack this wine onto a small amount of tannins to preserve all of its fruitiness and limit reduction.
